Here’s the deal on renewals, canceling, and refunds. This page is part of our Terms of Service and uses the same defined terms.

1. Free Trial

All plans come with a 30-day free trial on the plan itself. Cancel within the first 30 days and you won’t be charged for the plan. If you don’t cancel, your subscription continues and we charge your card the plan price.

The trial covers your base plan only. Add-ons aren’t included — if you add an extra phone number or a toll-free number during the trial, those carry their normal charges, and adding one ends your free-cancellation window. The trial is also a one-time offer: if you’ve cancelled a subscription with us before, signing up again doesn’t start a fresh trial.

2. Your Subscription Renews Monthly

Subscriptions are monthly and renew on their own. Each renewal, we charge your card the plan price plus any extra-minute or add-on charges for that month. This keeps going until you cancel.

3. How to Cancel

Cancel anytime from the billing section of your account — no phone call or email needed. Stuck? Just email help@dialapodcast.com and we’ll help.

4. What Happens When You Cancel

  • Canceling stops future renewals.
  • Your service keeps running through the end of your current billing month, so your callers can still dial in until then.
  • Because we bill in arrears, you’ll get one final bill after that month ends — for that month’s plan price plus any extra minutes used. Canceling doesn’t erase what you already owe for time used.
  • After that, callers can’t dial in anymore, and we may release your dedicated number(s).

5. Refunds

  • Trial guarantee: cancel within your 30-day trial and you owe nothing for the plan. (Add-ons like extra or toll-free numbers aren’t part of the trial — see above.)
  • After the trial: payments you’ve already made aren’t refundable, including for partial months — but you can cancel anytime to stop future charges.
  • We may make exceptions when it’s the right thing to do, and nothing here takes away any rights you have under the law.

6. Upgrading or Downgrading

Switch plans whenever you like. Changes apply back to the start of your current billing month, and the adjustment appears on your next regular invoice because billing is done in arrears. Some downgrades are blocked until your setup fits the smaller plan (for example, reducing a multi-podcast number down to a single podcast).

7. Your Data After Canceling

After you cancel, we hold onto your podcast setup, episode history, call logs, and number assignments so we can restore everything if you come back. We keep this until you ask us to delete it — there’s no set expiry. Want it deleted instead? Email help@dialapodcast.com — see our Privacy Policy for more.

8. If a Payment Fails

If a renewal charge doesn’t go through, we retry it over roughly two weeks. If it’s still unpaid after that, we cancel the subscription, which can include releasing your dedicated number(s).
